»Galaxy of Knowledge« is the name that has been given to the Berlin State Library's CD-ROMpresentation of precious and rare books from its historical collection. Individual collections from the Library's Department of Early Printed Books and 78 selected works from the 16th to 20th centuries are presented in great detail as part of this virtual exhibition. This website would like to invite you to embark upon a journey of discovery and features a selection of the objects available on the CD.

From August, 6th, 2003 onwards you can try out the »Galaxy of Knowledge«-CD at several terminals in our branches at Unter den Linden 8 and Potsdamer Straße 33.
